Dorset County Cross Country Championship (Senior Men and Women) - 14th January 2012
The Senior, Veteran and U20 Mens' and Womens' County Championships were held as part of the Hampshire Cross Country League at Kings Park, Bournemouth on Saturday 14 January 2012. Jacek Cieluszecki was the only BAC entrant in the Championship, and with a fine run (finishing 14th from 173 in the League race in a time of 29.38 for the 9k course), beat off all the other entrants, thus winning the gold medal as the Dorset Cross Country Champion for 2011/12, and many congratulations are due to Jacek for this achievement. Update: 2nd February 2012: (The results show that Jacek was actually second in the Championship to Richard Horton, and therefore won the silver, rather than the gold, medal. Still an excellent performance!)
