National Cross Country Championships - Parliament Hill - 25th February 2012

Five BAC athletes competed in the English National Cross Country Championships on Saturday 25 February, starting at Parliament Hill, London, with the courses taking in much of Hampstead Heath. The Senior Mens' race had an entry of over 1700, reputed to be a record, and there were 1689 finishers, with several athletes seen to drop out during the race. With every race well subscribed (there were 150 U17 Men finishers), the whole event was quite an occasion, in weather more resembling a warm summer's day, rather than late winter.
