Many congratulations to Jo Arundel, David Long and Josh King, who were part of the Dorset Schools Senior Boys Team which won the South West Schools Cross Country Championships at Blaise Castle, Devon, on Saturday 2 February. The Dorset Team was 1st of 6 County teams, and, of 51 boys running in the race, Jo was 13th in 25.13, David 19th in 25.37 and Josh 32nd in 26.49. BAC also helped out the Dorset Schools County teams in other races, with Bridget Dence finishing a very impressive 7th out of 54 finishers in 13.06.38 in the Junior Girls race, in which Dorset were 3rd of 6 County teams, Corrie Norton also running well to finish 17th of 56 in the Inter Boys in a time of 21.57 (Dorset were 4th of 6 Counties), and the ever present and reliable Glen Balfour 36th of 56 in the Junior Boys event in 15.22, in which Dorset were 3rd of 6 Counties.
