A number of BAC athletes represented their County at Crofton Park, Birmingham in a very muddy Inter County Cross Country challenge on Saturday 9 March. From 290 finishers in the Senior Mens' race, in 132nd place, representing Greater Manchester, was Josh Cole, crossing the line in 38.18, and, shortly afterwards, representing Dorset (as were the remainder of the BAC athletes), was Simon Munro, 185th in 39.22. The U17 Mens' race featured Jo Arundel, an excellent 71st of a total of 276 competitors, in 19.48, who was joined by Corrie Norton, 220th in 21.25. Jo and Corrie have been Cross Country regulars this season, as have Bridget Dence, who has had a superb season and Glen Balfour. Both Bridget and Glen were again competing, Bridget in the U15 Girls' race, finishing 54th in 18.43, and Glen in the U13 Boys', 159th of 311 competitors in 11.47.
