Final League positions

Particular mention should be made of the BAC 'ever presents' during this Wessex Cross Country League season. Bridget Dence has had a very good cross country winter (not only in the Wessex League) and, following consistent performances, Bridget is the U13 Girls Champion in this League for 2010/11. Other BAC athletes who have competed in every Wessex fixture this year have been Ornella O'Brien, whose high placings earned her 2nd U17 Woman overall position for the season, and, in the U15 Boys category, Joseph Arundel and Brendan Kirkton. Joseph is BAC's second overall Wessex League champion for the season, having topped the aggregate placings for the U15 Boys. Brendan also played an important part, helping the BAC U15 Boys team to be the season's champions in this category. Our U15 Boys, Joseph and Brendan, joined in some of the Wessex League fixtures by Joshua Nevin, Declan Toth, Sam Walrond and Harry Horton-Hill, show great promise, and, if they continue training and competing together, will continue to be a great asset to the club, in their present age category, and in 'older' age categories as the years progress. Congratulations to all our champions, regular competitors, and all others who flew the BAC flag in this Wessex League season!
