BAC finished fifth at Oxford, with
299 points, behind Oxford City (551), Camberley (430), Woking (425) and
City of Portsmouth (325), beating Wallingford & Goring (242) into sixth
place. This perhaps disguises the fact that there were some notable
wins by Andrew Elkins, and also by Nicholas Hunt, who achieved a Grade 1
Discus throw of 38.65m, and was nominated one of the four Athletes of

for the BAC results. The fact that we came last in this fixture hides
some good performances, particularly from the following athletes, who
all achieved wins - Brendan Kirkton, Jordan Knox, Dan Cox, Daniel
Arnold, Maria Moxey, Amy Spencer, Sian Long, Sarah Kearsey, Phoebe
Dowson, Kathleen Ward and Rosie Wootten. Where we are in the league is
a little complicated, partly because there are, in effect, three
different leagues, and partly because the league website does not yet
