Since the last Dorset Road Race League event referred to in Jon Sharkey's page www.sharkey.f9.co.uk/bac (Lytchett 10 mile - 14 February), there have been two more League races, in which BAC has continued its record of 100% wins - this is being written the day before the next League race, Puddletown Plod, so hopefully we aren't tempting providence!

2. Ian Habgood 32.43 (one week after a spectacular London Marathon!); 5. Mark Hargreaves 34.04; 6. Robin Copestick 34.11; 7. Simon Munro 35.13; 13. Tony Chutter 36.13; 31. Chris Birch 37.53; 36 Jud Kirk 38.13; 42. Simon Hunt 38.38; 72 Janie Chapman 40.33; 217 Cherry Sheffrin 48.18; 367 Linda Dowell 1.00.36.

In addition to leading the Division 1 Men's competition in the League, BAC members are in the running to scoop up most of the individual awards. In first place at present is Steve Way, who also leads the 35 - 39 years category. Other members currently leading their categories are Ian White (40 - 44, 2nd overall), Ian Habgood (25 - 29, 3rd overall, closely followed by Jon Sharkey, 4th overall), Simon Munro (21 - 24, 6th overall), Tony Chutter (50 - 54, 9th overall) and Chris Birch (60 - 64, 15th overall). For more information, go to the League website www.dorsetrrleague.co.uk.

Our athletes frequently compete in other races, and it is hoped to bring you news of those in the future. Recently, there were no fewer than 20 BAC competitors in the Poole 10k on 6 June, amongst whom were many of the prize winners. The full list of BAC finishers is as follows:
