Lytchett 10 - 19th February 2012

The question on everyone's lips after the Lytchett 10 mile road race on Sunday 19 February was - how come there was only one BAC vest in the leading pack? That vest belonged to Simon Munro, whose spirited run shows that he is returning to form after injury. The question is a little difficult to answer, bearing in mind this was not only an important League race, but also counted towards the Club 10 mile Championship, and was the County 10 mile Championship race. Fortunately, Simon was supported by Paul Consani, Ian Graham, Simon Hearn and Andy Gillespie to make up a League team (which at best has come fourth), with Chris Chatfield in reserve. BAC athletes did collect some of the individual prizes, namely Steph Slade (2nd lady), Helen Ambrosen (1st FV55), and Ian Graham (1st V60).

Results (BAC):
5. Simon Munro 59.21; 28. Paul Consani 1.05.13; 37. Ian Graham 1.06.51; 39. Steph Slade 1.07.11; 71. Simon Hearn 1.11.40; 74. Andy Gillespie 1.11.55; 127. Helen Ambrosen 1.17.15; 196. Chris Chatfield 1.23.40.
