Track and Field

Training sessions take place at Kings Park Athletic Centre

Qualified Coaches supervise training sessions. They are insured by UK Athletics to cover any liability involving training accidents.

Track Training Fees

Road Running

Main Club Sessions

Training with the club is completely free of charge (a small fee applies when using the track) and we meet at Kings Park Athletic Stadium, Bournemouth.

Training times are as follows:

Day & TimeSession
Tuesdays 6pm Usually an efforts/intervals session
Thursdays 6pm Usually a hills session or tempo run

Other training runs take place starting at locations other than Kings Park, including a long run over the Purbecks on Sunday mornings, catching the 8 am ferry from Sandbanks and a steady run on Wednesdays at 6.30pm from the Littledown Centre.

Further details of these runs can be obtained on a Tuesday or Thursday evening at Kings Park.

Cross Country

Senior Cross Country

We meet at Kings Park Athletic Stadium, Bournemouth.

Training times are as follows:

Junior Cross Country

The following training is aimed at 9-18 year olds:
