Paul was on the way to becoming the only Bournemouth AC man to complete seven races in the Dorset League

That was a good enough time to put him in 43rd position overall and 12th in the vet 50+ category. the race was won by Richard Martin in a time of 1:27:35. Samule Heritage was 2nd in 1:33:09 and Bradley Dawson was 3rd in 1:34 34.

Sophie Potts was first female in 1:39:40 which put her in 9th place overall. That was just enough to prevail over Anna Chapman who crossed the line in 1:39:54. Then it was Rebecca Bradley arriving in 1:40:13 which made her 3rd female and 11th overall.

A couple of weeks later Paul would be lining up for the final race of the the Dorset Road League season which was the Boscombe 10k. Since it would be his seventh race of the season, Paul would then be counted in the individual charts for the season, having fulfilled the required quota of races.
