This years English Schools Championship took place in Birmingham 10-11^th July.

The following BAC athletes represented Dorset at the English Schools championships:

Seniors

• Theo Knott (high jump)
• Isabel Cherrett (3000m)
• William Launder (Long Jump)

Inters

• Sienna Pope (80m hurdles)
• Logan Potter (hammer)
• Seni Purnell (Long Jump)

Juniors

• Junior Buron (100m)
• Imogen Pope (High Jump)

Congratulations to these athletes and their coaches: James Hind, Dave Clarke, Dave Pain, Bernard Buron and Brian Camp.

Imogen Pope had a podium performance taking the silver in the High Jump.

Others made the final 8: Junior Buron 7^th in the 100m, Theo Knott 7^th in High Jump, and William Launder 4^thLong Jump.

The previous week the SW combined events championship took place at Yeovil 27-28^th June. Here Imogen Pope claimed yet another medal, this time gold in the pentathlon.
