This was our home match so important for us to do well. It was a beautiful sunny day, albeit a little windy and very hot!

Always a privilege to compete for the National League team so it sad to see some last-minute dropouts. The clash with English Schools Championship also meant several U18s were not available. Fortunately, many athletes stepped up to compete in their full 5 events (3 events for U18s), taking on events outside their comfort zone for much needed points. The result a brilliant 2nd place. The team photo (sorry to have missed some athletes) says it all as the team really came together.
